As a non-profit organisation, Arise and Shine Uganda relies on the time and skills of volunteers. We are currently recruiting volunteers to assist with the development of AASU, either on the ground in Uganda or from home.
We are eager to welcome volunteers in the following fields:
- Teachers (at least with a TEFL qualification)
- Community workers
- Social workers
- Trained professionals interested in assisting with community education programmes in a range of subjects, such as diet, health and hygiene, reproduction, domestic violence, and many other areas.
Opportunities are also possible for people that would like to volunteer in other ways.
To register your interest in volunteering with AASU or to find out more information please email us at email@example.com.
Fundraising and Donations
Arise and Shine Uganda is improving the lives of people in rural communities in Uganda but we need your help!
As a small non-governmental organisation, AASU relies on fundraising and donations in order to do its work. AASU is a non-profit organisation so all funds raised go directly to the projects.
Plan a fundraising event!
Fundraising for Arise and Shine Uganda is a great way to help us. Coffee meet-ups, craft or bake sales, holiday parties, treks, and any other adventure is on the table. One of our great successes is the selling of crafts made right here in Kibuye by women in the community. We will work with you in any way we can to ensure your fundraising event goes smoothly.
A small amount can make a huge difference! Whether you are able to make a one-time contribution to AASU’s work or if you wish to set up a regular donation, we will ensure you gift is spent wisely and we will update you on the progress we make.
Note: Only for Canadian and US donors.
